Fashion and Design

summer

Dates Available: June 22-25, July 6-July 9, July 13-July 16 & July 20-July 23

Rocketown Fashion and Design allows teens to express their unique fashion style while providing a platform to communicate their creativity. The class studies current fashion trends, allows youth to design their own clothing line and teaches both marketing and business. Rocketown’s Fashion and Design is intended to be both a creative outlet and life skills course. At the end of the week students will display their work during a fashion show.

Staff: Ashley Gaio

Ashley Gaio, who holds a bachelor’s in art and fashion and also owns her own clothing line, will serve her second summer as the class instructor. Ashley has also taught fashion and art at Clarion University and works at Rocketown helping run the after school programs, the Rocketown Reps and teaching classes in graphic design, mixed media art, studio drawing and fashion design.
